“Who hate others, end up hating himself”.

Welcoming 2011 in the Sudanese communities at home and Diasporas is viewed differently. A Southerner who needs the South to Secede is perceiving the year 2011, a valuable lifetime, more than any other year that has come and past, because of the Baby- Freedom coming home after decades of fighting for it and deceptions by Khartoum government against Southern Sudanese. A Northerner - let’s say, a National Congress Party follower would not want the South to Separate or secede because of wealth and dignity lost, which Khartoum will suffer after South Sudan independence when the Referendum Votes confirm Separation against Unity of Sudan as a Country.
Creating a point on the world map is part of modernization. Which all the peace, and development loving governments and people would welcome, disregarding faking calls for forging people’s unity.
The Southerners wanted to vote for Secession of their region to save lives and bring the South-North Sudanese two civil wars to halt; bringing New Nation to the African Continent, while Northerners wanted to save wealth and the Country’s dignity as claimed, whereas shedding blood of the innocent citizens. The Southern Sudanese have hailed the New Year with the slogan “Happy New Year” – with the interpretation; Happy Referendum, Happy Independent South, while the Northern Sudanese are talking about adjusting the economics path for their new North; saying unhappy economy, unhappy Country for losing wealth and dignity as the government of Southern Sudan (GOSS) with Sudan People Liberation Movement (SPLM) and her folks are well prepared - crossing this hurdled road.
The Arab league called Supporting of Southern Sudanese referendum vote – Sudanese disunity support.
And remember the same Arab league called the killing in Darfur, the embezzlement of the Sudanese wealth by Khartoum and the civil war that enraged for decades in the South, nothing. Is that fair?
The Sudanese government with it wrong perception and orientation as always, did not believe, nor see the South’s independence coming like it’s now. The Chinese said, “You don’t blame the mirror for your ugliness”, - Chinese Proverb. When the South Separate, it was force to opt for secession by the Sudanese government’s deployment of hatred, through “race, religion and violence” against minorities, tribes and regions. Separation is the result of the Sudanese ruling party - National Congress Party’s (NCP) ugliness. So, anyone or anything that’s NCP’s material must not blame the South for breaking the Sudanese beautiful map apart. But the rigid rampage behaviors of the Sudanese government against minorities and other religion which are not Islam nor Islam related, since independence in 1956 from British has led to this; if the Referendum favor Secession of the South as a new Country on the world map as obviously known, during the preparation for Referendum Votes.
If the Sudanese government and its supporters hate Referendum for Independence of the South, then they should hate themselves first, because the referendum for separation is a product of what have been brewing in Khartoum for over fifty years of ferocity, and that’s why apostle Paul for Christ, told Ephesians, “who hate others, end up hating himself”. Khartoum never like it and will not like it but it’s all about its own miscalculated crimes. Which the South, as a capable region in Sudan has been forced to response to for the sake of Heaven. Besides, Separation is not a pill that cures it all, but it’s better to go for drought than going for an earthquake.
Every region is getting ready to fly because the Southern courage has given all the oppressed Sudanese a wing. A Northerner in Al –Jeezera in English piece of video; entitled: “History of a Broken land” said, “we have reached the most dangerous time”, meaning South Referendum for Secession in Sudanese history. Unless if the mistreated Sudanese are sympathetic to spare the government stability. Just to paraphrase what a Southerner living in Northern Sudan, said in that same video, we (Southerners) are not given the respect and the share we deserve as Sudanese by the government and the people in the North or Khartoum, therefore, independence is our refuge.
This is ending long years of South and other marginalized areas’ captivity in Sudan, under Khartoum regime. People’s opinion, well wishes and prayers have been casted and shared among folks where Southern Sudanese reside around the globe.
So, “let the celebration begin, for in our God life will begin”, Sudanese Nubian by the name: Abe Enusa; in his poem.
