I Stand with President, Kiir Mayardit
By Gabriel M. Tor
“South Sudan's spokesman said, his troops would only leave if defeated” (BBC - April 13th, 2012).
Like South Sudanese civil populations, friends and patriotic arm forces of the Country, South Sudan. I stand with the president of the Republic of South Sudan. I salute and appreciated South Sudan arm forces for their courage and strength that enable them to stand straight in the face of Khartoum’s inept dream of return to occupy South Sudan to exploit resources after the split of Sudan into two Countries (South and North) almost a year ago.
South Sudan’s leadership has always done her best in regard to a peaceful co-existence of the two Sudanese Nations (South and North), but Khartoum always has a trigger set ready to strike the South, or opposition to ashes. Sudan’s government in the North had never stop war rhetoric, raiding, attacking and bombing the South Sudanese territories, since Comprehensive Peace Agreement was signed in Kenya. South Sudan has been hoping North Sudan would understand and stop the war of terrorizing civilians and taking regions inside South which are far away from the contest areas.
The evident seen as symbol of Khartoum’s violent attitudes toward South Sudan, is capture of Abyei in May, 2011 – which led to over 100,000 thousands Ngok ( Dinka Sub-tribe) civilians displaced into the South’s neighboring State of Warrap. The villages, shops and homes were burnt to ashes, while properties were looted both by Sudan troops and Arab’s local tribes along them against African local communities of the Dinka Ngok. Mass rapes and killings were done against vulnerable civilians in 2011, the same as seen in 2008 attack of Abyei town by Bashir’s troops who burnt the Abyei town and villages at the time. Hundreds of bombs have been dropped and artilleries fired deep inside South Sudan by Sudan army, just to destabilize South Sudan as well as terrorizing civilians to move away from oil towns neighboring villages, so the North could construct some secret oil pipelines to steal the South’s oil to the North. The world leaders were told and did not do anything to condemn, nor stop the North’s brutality and the media has shown trenches dug by bombs on South Sudan soil in the 3 bordering States of Western Bhar-el Ghazal, Unity and Upper Nile.
Juba’s recent response to aerial bombardments and ground attacks on South Sudan’s soil that has left some casualties and villagers driven away from their homes. The reports on hostilities by Sudan government against the South was submitted by South’s government to neighboring Countries and the world’s international community’s over the years, and have either received deaf ears or little attention for the solution to be reached. Now the Heglig’s capture by South Sudan Arm Forces as the result of attackers’ repulsion by SSAF, has drawn some criticism from the world’s powerful nations, asking Juba to order her troops back to the South, whereas the same attackers come as invaders who would remain as settlers of the place the invaded likewise in Abyei and other reputed borders. Millions dead, millions oppressed, and other millions homeless and thousands of Sudanese in jail under Khartoum’s making and these same nations have done nothing to stop these crises happening in South Sudan, South Kordofan, Blue Nile and Darfur States. All these atrocities have been called “fictions” time and again by the same government of Sudan, which is causing them. So, do the world leaders believe in lies and condemn the realities with witnesses. UN and AU among others are calling South Sudan to withdraw her troops “immediately and without condition” from Heglig, while Khartoum is bombing Unity State of South Sudan, according to the BBC News and UN’s media.
Sudan government have been known for dishonoring peace agreements with oppositions but leave alone that, talks schedules between the South and North Sudan have just been dishonored, or refused to attend by Khartoum negotiators, claiming to consult with their government before sitting down with the South to settle their differences on reputed areas and issues of concern, just to allow themselves to send some more troops and fighting aircrafts to burn the South. Sudan’s government in the North is delaying or refusing negotiations between the two nations, just to fight South to show that Khartoum is strong and still can fight to get their ill-lion share wishes. These behaviors from government in the North have been taken serious and unacceptable by government in Juba. The world in relations to North and South Sudan must act with equal voice and justice to both Countries for a better settlement of issues of content.
Sudan government fighting aircraft has bombarded South Sudan’s oil fields in Unity State more than several times since January this year alone; with aim of destroying the oil wells there, because of the animosity of Northern government. This act of animosity and terror have always been denied by Khartoum gov’t and when the oil town of Heglig that’s feeding the economy on the other side is captured, leaders in Khartoum think it’s bad and mean war for them.
Sudan government has created rebellions against South Sudan government, the train them, provide them and send them very equipped to cause some unrest and destructions and for them cover up for their dirty tactic, while the North accused the South of supporting Sudan rebels, whom Khartoum refused to have peace talk with them, with the goal of not running the popular Consultation for S. Kordofan and Blue Nile States per CPA. It’s easy to accused Kiir’s government because the rebels in the states were once part of SPLA (South Sudan Army), so if they have equipments related to South Sudan military apparatus, then they came with them but not recently provided.
Therefore, I stand with president Kiir Mayardit, for South Sudan troops to remain in Heglig, until borders are demarcated, until Northern troops withdraw from Abyei to allow civilian residents return and Referendum conducted; including other territories deep inside South must be vacated by Northern troops.
Head of General Staff: James Hoth Mai, told a group of South Sudanese youth that the SPLA was ready to fight the North Sudanese army, who on Friday announced a counteroffensive in an attempt to retake the area."Let them come. We will meet where men meets. We will meet in the middle and not inside the children and elderly people. We will face them”, Mai declared amid applause".
Egypt Is a Racist Judge for Sudan
By Gabriel M. Tor
We have no crime committed other than our own skins and religions.
I once read a caption that reads “This Machine has no Brain, use your own”. The same thing applies here: Our tribes, religions, nations and leaders are completely nothing, until we start using our wise brains to reason well and do better for the world and humanity. We [all races] did not choose to be in the complexion we found ourselves. Those among us with wisdom, like their own skins, in whichever color it came in, without prejudice; either being red, yellow, black or white, if that’s how you read us.
You cannot claim an offer of mediation to the people you divide yourself and even classify.
The civil wars fought in Sudan between oppositions, or South Sudan and Khartoum are many wars, fought for a number of years which sum up, up to almost over a century and the struggle continues. Southern Sudanese knows they went to a civil war with North; the Sudan government – to end injustices on thin lines of race and religion under Khartoum as a faker.
What I am driving at here is Egypt’s recent offer, to mediate between South and North Sudan’s post Referendum and Independence of South Sudan as an independent Country. There are a lot of issues between Juba and Khartoum, regarding borders, South’s oil taxes and charges for transportation through Sudan to the Red Sea’s Port Sudan and refinery, Abyei and Sudan debts among other cases, which two Sudanese seats of governments have failed to understand, or agree upon. And this is where Egypt came in, to help the process according to; “Egypt offers to Mediate Between Khartoum and Juba” www.Sudantribune.com/news, January, 10th, 2012.
Whereas South and North were at war, Egyptian government chose to support North Sudan by sending forces and ammunitions to Khartoum to be used against dissidents or non-Arabs. Some troopers were killed, caught and identified as Egyptians who did not like the idea of South Sudan to succeed nor exist. So Egyptians decision makers must know that all the dirty jobs Egypt has done to South Sudan during those decades are still at their fresh point. No matter what Cairo do, or say, our eyes are on Egypt for justice for our murdered brothers at Refuge for unknown cause.
Why is Egypt a racist nation? Over two years ago, a Southern Sudanese found in Alexandria Beach water, Egypt, was told by Egyptians to get out of the water, and ordered to go take shower and come back clean. This was not a homeless Southerner, but a regular Southern Sudanese, who resides in Egypt at the time as Egyptian resident, who was abused, insulted and threatened, not that he, is dirty, but because of his dark complexion. The things we wash off our bodies every single day, are never things we came with during our birth, but the things we encounter, stuff that live with us on daily bases, you may say dust. No one, non among could wash his own nature clean, but nature itself.
Egyptian troops and police have been killing Southern Sudanese as their target for decades since then and the reasons were religion and race. In an article written by Human Rights Group, in Sept. 2005 carrying a headline of 20 Sudanese Refugees Killed by Egyptian Police after the attacked Sudanese Refugee Camp in Cairo. The description of the police by witness was, “these are not men, they are animals”. People who were either of South’s origin, Darfur, Khordofan and Blue Nile states were beaten to death without gun wounds mercilessly, some shot dead. This is not the Egypt we want to see claiming an offer of mediation for Sudanese people. They have nothing good to offer.
In another different writing by Houda, “Egypt Accused of Brutally Killing Sudan Refugees” crossing the border to Israel. In a single border crossing, 4 Sudanese expected to be Southern Sudanese were again shot and beaten to death in a single attempt. Egyptian government had never intervened nor investigates all these cases. See Egyptian arm forces to Egyptians, and try to understand it yourself, if justice exist in Egypt before Egypt step out empty handed for negotiating other people’s affairs.
The Nile River waters which run through and in more than five African Countries has its 80% of its waters control and used by Cairo. Is there fairness here? Egypt must come clean, by paying for all the dead it has helped killed and reduce its Nile share to something less than greediness. We should see justice plaid on Cairo streets and tables, than in Juba or Addis Ababa. Egyptian government must cease violence against Egyptian Christians before she seek to be a judge for other nations.
Egypt’s government is Bashir’s platoon.
South Government should not allow Egypt as a mediator between Juba and Khartoum; they have been bribed and sent.

Corrupt and Non-Responsive GOSS
“Not much in Change of Attitude” Hillary Clinton, U.S Secretary State.
By Gabriel M. Tor
Where is the law that punishes crime? Which is the constitution to cite?
Check South Sudan government’s structures: Heroes/heroines displaced and replaced with traitors; those who served Bashir for decades, to ensure South Sudan do not succeed to exist.
We [South Sudanese] have been living on optimism for almost a century as we hanged in the bush, but we also believe it’s time to believe in optimization (effectiveness of service). South Sudanese have lived on hope for many, many years during those civil wars between North and South Sudan, that every pain will come to an end and every lost will be paid for. Since the common hostilities ceased between South and North Sudan in 2005, through peace agreement, and the nation wealth came to be shared, or own, then the expectations of the people from the leadership are effectiveness of service to the people and the country South Sudan. Freedom delivered, service pending.
I heard them say Southerners have a lot of expectations, but I say no, that’s not true. People’s expectations are appropriate, but the burden is a lot of corrupting and the doing nothing-hands in Juba and other sites of leadership inside South Sudan. The evident are those few among us, who just left the bush and became millionaires in matter of days. Riches take time to accumulate, but it didn’t take time for these fellows to disapprove common sense; that money don’t grow on trees.
Government of South Sudan has been known as corrupt and non responsive by Southerners and their international communities of friends, who helped them, reached their current destiny. The witness of this line above are squandered millions of dollars which government officials had never, never bothered to explain and the communal violence which continued without condemnation and investigation from Kiir’s and states’ leadership.
If you care, as a leader. Won’t you arrive first at the scene of crime with your arm forces than foreign nation to arrive at your geographical location, before you do so? When Jale and Maar Payams were attacked and raided by unknown, or guessed neighboring hostile communities, in Jonglei State, South Sudan on Dec. 5th, 2011 as alleged. The first people who arrived as witnesses were UN. Don’t you tell me about transport? South Sudan has ruled itself for over 6 years and overseeing the receipt of the oil share. I believe we are still not waiting for a miracle to happen. All the violence threats, from Khartoum aggression, rebellion against GOSS and tribal fights have come and gone without being condemned and no investigation conducted, if not less condemn.
Questions have been asked, but some of the answers given were either more annoying or disgraceful than the tribal war itself. Salva Kiir Mayar, South Sudan president was asked in D.C by one of South Sudan Diasporas, during one of his visit a year ago.
Question: “What solution does Juba government have to bring Murle hostilities to an end against other targeted communities?” asked, one of the South Sudanese in exile. Kiir’s Answer: Murle do not kill kids, they feed and keep them (the abducted kids). When you looks at this answer in comparison to raids and abductions done by the raiders, an abducted kid, whom his/her mom have been raped, or killed is not at good hands at all. One: The kid is abducted to be sold, enslaved and being owned by the rapist. This is not good news to the victimized parents, but rather bad.
In about the same time, same year. Ezekiel Gatkuoth, Head of South Sudan mission in D.C travelled to Northern California and was presenting in Santa Clara University, after Stanford and Berkeley Universities among others, April, 2010, campaigning about why is it good for South Sudan to separate from North Sudan? Before Referendum votes that led to the independence of South Sudan on July 9th, 2011. Question: “What will Sudan People Liberation Army (SPLA) do to stop tribal violence in the South?” Gatkuoth’s answer: it’s not duty of the SPLA. By observing all these answers, you wanted to scream, and could ask, are you sure? Are you knowledgeable about the Country and its people whom you wanted to lead? You can’t fail to understand issues by not giving necessary answers. SPLA must protect civilians from both external and internal dangers, because we had no police with such capabilities until some are trained to do the job and even they are overwhelmed, SPLA will still be needed to help out in any situation.
“When you cease to believe, you cease to behave” Thiew De Gutbeer.
When South Sudanese don’t believe in anything going on, on the ground of Juba leadership right now, because things being done by GOSS are in opposite with what the fallen and remnant comrades across the country have fought and suffered for, then folks head back to the bush, which they hanged in for 21 plus years previously, during the second civil war against Khartoum government. So why would Kiir’s government make citizens go mad, in lieu of building joy and trust among communities for a better growth of a young nation? Either greediness, nor selfishness? You know the answer!!
In conclusion: “not much in change of attitude” – Hillary Clinton, Dec. 14th, 2011 - U.S Sec. of State on International Engagement Conference for South Sudan in D.C (brightcove video platform’s video clip).
Clinton spoke some clean hearts of GOSS victims. I wish the South Sudan Dec. 14th delegates took the message home with them. They could build a better home for all South Sudanese.
Holding grudges and simple brainless past, is a total lack of attitude in a civilized society, which former guerillas are keeping in practice as they mishandle the nation South Sudan. These create the sense of exclusiveness. “Inclusive is a key,” Clinton. If our older comrades allow young comrades in the nation’s leadership and start looking at all tribes as one, we would have a better chance of progress and security because they have advanced characters in them, which are good for development and understanding among communities in the Country. Much change of attitude is what allows us to live with dogs, cats and snakes as pets, because they have abandoned their past behaviors of the wilderness and start living like real humans; their new friends.

Khartoum’s Demon and Gimmick – Bashir’s Folly Demise.
By Gabriel Makuei Tor
May 28th, 2011.
If it’s rhetoric let’s do some slick rhetoric and if it’s hardware shield, let’s put up the shield.
Juba have waited too long to speak out, about Abyei’s Khartoum forces alleged attack by Southern Sudanese arm forces, whereas withdrawing to the North (it was a two joined Integrated Unit soldiers quarrel: one from the South and one from the North, that caused the fight – termed to be an ambush, said, Kiir). Salva Kiir’s peace speech (we don’t want anybody to drag us into war) and Omar Bashir’s war-vulgar speech (Abyei is Northern and there is no “South Sudan Independence” on July 9th, without borders demarcated between the old Sudan and the South). Is someone writing Kiir’s speech, the wrong way, or is Juba waiting for the child to be born, so he knows how to feed a child? Mr. President Salva Kiir, You don’t wait for South Sudan, to say now we are a Country, to protect them, you protect them at all times of their need from the enemy North SAF. Someone must speak up here, and speak out loud for the demon to hear.
“Never surrender to fate, for then she ends by making herself intolerable” – Gracian, Baltasa. “The Art of Worldly Wisdom” (Book - 1647). Surrendering the Southern Sudanese masses including Abyei, to their fateful evil NCP by softy stance is a grave mistake, that’s unacceptable to Southern Sudanese people at home and abroad. The Juba leadership has gone silent in issues which matter to the region and its neighbors. Our women raped, civilians killed and displaced, homes and villages burned down to ashes, cattle rustled, and our belongings looted inside the South and most of all; our defense mechanism endangered on the frontline – where in the world, would Juba stand as a nation’s capital, without a hand to interrupt all these invading attitude!!
The Southern Sudanese people from civilians to their clothed brothers (both gender) in uniforms have voted to be a nation of their own – that mean, no one has the right boxes or ballots than the ones we have casted, counted and rejoiced for. So why is Bashir out to nullify South independence? The reason is greed and folly. Bashir must stop his irresponsible hate speech and invasion; they are not going to function for a new state. We should begin on a new floor. Khartoum knows exactly what is coming, after July 9th, 2011; the oil is never going to flow according to Bashir’s will, but Juba’s and that’s why he is trying to create some chaos, so he remain in charge to be selling oil in the South still.
So Bashir has this:One United Nations official said a northern Sudanese general revealed this week that there was a plan to send 15,000 Misseriya, an Arab and nomadic people, into Abyei in the coming days, which could have a serious impact on Abyei’s delicate demographics. Other United Nations officials estimated that 5,000 to 10,000 Misseriya had already entered Abyei town.New York Time, News “U.N. warns of Ethnic Cleansing in Sudan Town”.
Khartoum Fighting Folly of their Demise
The Satellite Sentinel Project – images in Muglad (www.satsentinel.org) are Bashir’s terrible behavior toward Sudanese people. This clearly showed Sudan Arm Forces intention to arm militias and government forces against the Ngok Dinka and Juba government. The military hardware apparatus of helicopters, and other fighting aircraft, tanks, truck and ammunitions on the ground facing South Sudan and particularly Ngok in Abyei; are worrisome. Some of these were used, both on the ground and in the air, during the recent Abyei town’s capture by SAF.
Did Bashir not claim that Abyei is Northern? If so, why did you burn Abyei once again for the second time in two years, displacing its Ngok population; replacing it with Misseriya tribe? This makes the North’s demand to be the owner of Abyei area – a fake requirement. Now it’s clear, only that we don’t have the judge. Khartoum needs Abyei not as inclusive as it could be with its people and resources, but wealth alone, of pastures and minerals which Khartoum want. There is no wise leadership which can support one tribe against the other (Misseriya against Ngook).
“This is absolutely absurd, said Sadig Nimir, a Misseriya elder, on Wednesday, from Khartoum, Sudan’s capital. We have no interest in occupying Abyei. Most Misseriya are cattle herders, and they don’t come to Abyei except once a week on Thursdays to buy supplies like sugar and oil. They don’t have the desire to live there. They only come to Abyei to graze. He added: We have no problem with the Ngok Dinka. We have nothing to do with this. This is a battle between two armies”- New York Time, News “U.N. warns of Ethnic Cleansing in Sudan Town”.
Dispensable are looting of UN’s and NGOs’ aid supplies in their compounds in Abyei by Khartoum’s national arm forces, with their militias without control. Besides, the dissolving of Abyei administrative body – replacing it with some people appointed from Khartoum, is just an insult to Abyei district constituencies.
Bashir government have failed to understand the sovereignty of the region South as a Country of its own, since the Naivasha agreement was tabled, incase if they didn’t comprehend the south Sudan’s, that took them more than 3 presidents since 1983, then time itself will shame them soon.

The SPLM/A current flag adapted during the revolution time was agreed upon by our fighters; whoever is against it now was against us during the civil war.
Congratulation to South Sudan Legislative Assembly for approving the name South Sudan as the official name for now and may be forever, for the new Country (South Sudan). Why would you change your original name? Name is just a material thing but we must have the change of minds and hearts before we fight to change hardware stuff.
Those who have failed the region South Sudan to succeed earlier than later and even failed themselves, not to remain in Khartoum for decades with their treason suit on - wanted to distort the South's story which was written by the blood of our patriots. There have been voices calling for the name South Sudan to be changed; which many people didn’t see the reason of changing it. Eventually the name is officially approved. Many thanks to the SSLA.
The issue of the new nation’s name is dealt and done with, whereas the SPLM/SPLA’s Flag is another twist waiting for the legislators’ approval.
I want them to take the same nerve to prove SPLM/SPLA’s Flag as the South Sudan’s national and official Flag. Because this flag is beautiful like none before, though many flags have been used since 1950's during those revolutions against Khartoum’s flag on a quest home for freedom, justice and equality. This flag is the most beautiful of them all with the honor of our fallen comrades on it. I have seen some flags which some Southerners are suggesting to be used as official flag for South Sudan but those flags are not competitive in anyway – the current SPLM Flag has the integrity, boldness and gallant of our heroes, heroines and patriots – who stood the ground against the devilish and autocratic Khartoum government. It must remain.
“We have been disoriented by our lives in the displace and refugee camps, during the civil war, which has resulted into us taking things for granted” – anonymous.
Those who claim that all parties have to be involved in choosing the Southern National flag, because the current SPLM flag is a one party thing and yes we were one party, one people, before you becomes a traitor and multiply into those nine parties - with the claim now in the City-State, Juba. That reasoning is an insane and unpatriotic. There is no example of this, where all the citizens and parties are asked to prove the flag, to make it national and democratic.
Those who have done nothing to Southerners than killing them during those decades of revolution are feeling their shame and wanted to do something to add their names in the book. These are the same folks who sided with Northern Sudan government for unity of Sudan with allusion of no independent South Sudan at the recent Referendum preparation, calling South a failed State and now it has not failed, so they want to fail it with their ill wishes.
And again they wanted to walk out of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) Constitutional Review in Juba, let them walk the hell out with their confusion and conspiracy; they never brought in anything, so they will still take nothing away with them. You cannot claim Juba’s corruption to get advantage out of it, but your killing of our innocent lives is more evil than that corruption.
They called themselves nine parties in the South, but they are nine Omar El Bashir’s Messengers.

Is the South Crying for Oil, or Lives?
The Southern Sudanese leadership in Juba and its people care more about lives of the people than the wealth of oil in the land. Khartoum must get this right before she reinstates herself to meddle with Shaira Law victims’ lives. The decision has been taken to the point of no return to Unity. Our Referendum votes are for Freedom not bribery; South Sudan as a Country of its own. Bashir have just said, on the 3rd week of December, 2010 to his leadership thugs. If South Sudan vote for unity of the Country then North would give up their 50% share of oil to give the South full control on South Sudan oil revenues (100%). Ask yourself! Why now and why at the eleventh hour? I have seen this as part of NCP’s wishful thinking. You can’t give people power by saying and not by doing it. Southerners knows very much that Bashir’s statement was meant to influence the Referendum outcome but the Northern dirty tricks have been known for years. Khartoum has it as part of it strategy. That, “drop of oil is worth a drop of human blood”. You may be tempted to think that Sudanese presidency has come to term or behalf by thinking this wishful thoughts but this is negative. Why did people starved to death and fell sick and died without treatment, while the oil flows in their soil?
If the North has done nothing to help correct the justice system, freedom of press and speech, power and wealth sharing in the Country during the last five years, then nothing will make them think sharing of power, or wealth should be the way to go. They (Northerners) have fooled the Southern region for decades but nothing, and I said nothing will make them fool, pull or push Southerners to their wishful dream, any more. When Atem Garang of Sudan People Liberation Movement (SPLM) reacted and responded to president Bashir’s talk of “oil for Unity” according to Al Jazeera News. Garang said it all very well – when he said, “it’s a matter of principle” - Meaning South’s separation from the larger and olden Sudan is not about wealth but about justice for all Sudanese citizens, which had never come to exist.
Like the Sudanese YouTube video- woman being beaten with 50 lashes by two Sudanese policemen by turns for wearing a pair of pants, tortured mercilessly by beating with a Hippo treated skin from her head to toe, during the brought day light. And endorsed by Omar El Bashir. A priest who had a chance o watches that tearful-video had to say this: “if they could do this during the broad day light, what can they do in the dark?” - On Dec. 13th, 2010 during the Southern Sudanese Leadership Summit in Phoenix, Arizona (organized by American Episcopal Church for Southerners in the United States). The leadership Summit was attended by spiritual and community leaders. From DC to California, from USA to Southern Sudan. His lordship, Bishop of Nzara, South Sudan, Bishop of Arizona Diocese, and Southern Sudanese priests and community leaders from the States were among the attendees.
The meeting under the themes “Considering the past, Contemplating the present and Collaborating for the future” was chaired by Pastor Angela Ifill from Dec. 10th through the 14th. The Southern Sudanese priests of Zacharia Char, Abraham Anei, and William Deng and Community leaders of Bul Mabil, Simon Jada among others had a chance to speak to the media about their experiences as war kids inside Sudan, East African Countries and Middle Eastern Countries. Interestingly! There was a Peaceful Demonstration in Washington DC on Dec. 11th, 2010 by the Sudanese and Friends to remind the world about Sudanese war victims, sharia law victims about their future and their well being from 2011 onward, and the political situation in Sudan in regard to referenda, peace talks and popular consultations.
Bashir’s NCP has found it shameful to cut the Sudanese Map into parts. It’s because of their shameless rigidity to crisis in the Country. So, trading oil for unity votes for Sudan is never a ticket to Unity still.
South Sudan must succeed as an independent Nation for the Sudanese political grievances’ peaceful settlement.
"No matter what we do we will reach this conclusion which will be recognized by the entire world… we must not deceive ourselves or cling to wishful thinking, we must resign to facts and realities," Nafi Ali Nafie, said to SUNA News on Dec. 16th, 2010.

The Southern Sudanese need Total Freedom, not Federalism!!
By Gabriel Makuei Tor
The San Francisco Bay Area Southern Sudanese known as Bay Area South Sudanese Community Association (BASSCA) comprised of about 50 young men and barely young women, prepared themselves with joy and hope of a new nation to be (South Sudan). They requested days off at work and at schools in their beautiful name of South Sudan Referendum Registration with the promise and enthusiasm to cast their votes against what they call Fake NCP Unity - in favor of separation to Secede the South as a New independent Nation.
They zipped up their school bags and threw them into drawers, left their work schedules behind with their personal cars parked and drove six rental cars including mini bus, 8 Setter SUVs and more than several other passenger cars from San Jose, in California to Phoenix, Arizona - one of the eight Referendum Registration Centers, US wide for exiled Southern Sudanese living in United States. The drove through the Hilly, rocky and mountainous golden State of California through Los Angeles (LA) to Sunny State of Arizona – since Nov.15th, 2010 and continuing, dodging commercial trucks on inter State High Ways, enjoying some entertaining and historical music from Southern Sudanese artists: Mario, Ngong
(John Kudusay), and American Joe, to the Ethiopian Teddy among others. The round trip’s distance is over 1,460 miles (2349.642 Kilometers); more than 24 hours driving, luckily no, or light snow in this Western United States region, with between 30 to 35 degrees Fahrenheit, winter like cold (-1.1 to 1.6 degree Celsius).
“I am talking to you my home fellows; I am talking to you my dear Southern Sudanese and my Sudanese at large. Who don’t know what he is doing? To still remain to sleep in the city (Khartoum), we have cornered the enemy to the Bay, and got it caught through the gills, mama never go and cry, you scare the kids…,” said Mario, in one of his Dinka tracks. Translated from his music in Dinka (Ye nga kuc ke loi? = who still don’t know what he is doing).
Their (the Southern Sudanese in the San Francisco Bay Area) supervisors at places of work and College professors wished them nice lifts, with obvious hope that they are making change as part of the civilians’ opinion inside the South and Southerners diasporas, which the world is awaiting for.
People pay for freedom in different kind of ways. Those who left their families for frontline did it for their service to the nation for freedom.

The left their home Country Sudan - more than twenty 22 years ago when they were forced out the Country when they were kids, ages: 7 to 11years old - not knowing about Sudan but their residential villages and later on they picked up the story on the grass leaves, as they dodge Khartoum fighting aircrafts’ bombs in the forests and bushes inside Southern Sudan toward the East side of Southern region as they flee for their lives when Southern villages were attacked and seized between 1983 to 1990's under declaration of the Northern Sudan's holy war (the Jihad) which let the government of Sudan stormed the South with troops. And now they have grown up well in numerous and manner able ways without parents who raise them, but their group mates and they alone, If there was one, who helped them being raised - that was UN raising them materially after they were discovered month later, during those long and lasting years of trekking and fleeing Khartoum attacks and ambushes on the ground and in the air. Thousands of colleagues to these folks have lost their lives besides the Sudanese millions of lives lost, during the civil war, to war and related causes, but these few remnants are here to tell and support the story that has taken the Land’s beau mondes. Besides, they are ready to put a crack on the Sudanese map, in few days to come (January 9th, 2011) but not only that, they might put it to pieces to return the livelihood robbed out of them by the Sudanese North Control government in Khartoum for more than several decades. “The Technologies of War Might Have Changed, but the Results of War Have not Changed” - George W. Bush (January 28th, 2003).
Please bear with me – I know you may not be a religious person or Christian but excuse me to tell you a story.
Zion means: Israel, Jews State, Heavenly Kingdom, and City of Eternity or Holy Land. You might have heard Bashir and his like-Northerners, calling the South Sudanese, their friends and Supporters worldwide – Zionists and pro-Israel, when a statement that favors Secession of the South is announced. Yes! Because they are not Jihadists, they could be Zionists – the 2nd Israel (South Sudan) must come to exist. “How I think about Israel is how I think about the children of Cush” said God, the Most High – Master of all lives (Old Testament - Bible).
The Sudanese minister of defense, Abdel-Rahim Mohamed Hussein - on his recent visit to Egyptian president, Hosni Mubarak, according to Oct. 19th, 2010 www.Sudantribune.com Hussein talked of Referenda postponement to create rooms for negotiations on the grievances, both North and South Sudan have disagreed upon in regards to creation of a new Country (South Sudan) within Sudan. Besides, Hussein called “Referendum not a goal, but a tool” and if it’s not a goal, it’s not a plan. This is another campaign to bury the Referendum in its validity. Referenda to the South and Abyei and Popular Consultations to the Blue Nile and Nuba Mountains States/provinces are goals to the people and the regions in which they were made to exist. Tools would be the protocols within the agreement signed by the two governments in Naivasha, Kenya (2005) during the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA).
The Story:
In the Book of - 1 Kings 3: Verses 16 to 28 (Bible). There were two women which the Bible called loose women. The two were living in a house by themselves. One woman gave birth 3 days before the other one delivered her own baby. The woman who gave birth after the first delivered, slept over/rolled over her own kid and found the kid dead when she was trying to feed her in the middle of the night. So she thought it would be clever to take the dead to the side of the other colleague-woman while sleeping or {you can call her a roommate}. She did take her dead kid to the side of the other, laid it there on the side and came back to her beddings with a kid that’s alive and not her own, because she have killed her kid accidentally, while she needs one.
The mother of the stolen alive – kid woke up afterward at the same night trying to breast feed her kid but found it dead, not knowing the cause of its death. The day broke and the mother looks at the kids closely and found out its not her own, but when she try to tell the woman she lives with about the case, the woman denies that the dead kid is her baby, though she knows the exchange she have done during that night – the argument continues to the King and the judge (King Solomon) of the Land of Israel. The woman who has the dead in her hands which is not her baby starts to explain to the King - King Solomon. The kid in my hand is not my kid but might have been exchanged during our night sleep to my side – claiming the living kid as hers, according to the story. The other woman said the same and the argument continues repeatedly before the King. Each of the two women claiming the living kid as her own.
Since no one of the two women seem to claim the dead kid but all claiming the living kid. King Solomon said to the two-women, bring the sword and the sword was brought. Cut the living kid in halves, so each can take half, said the King. The mother of the dead ki
d said yes go ahead – cut it in halves– that’s better and the mother of the living kid said, no! you better give her the kid – leave it alive.
The King got his own judgment: give the living kid to her mother (the one who refused the kid being cut into halves). The Land of Israel was amazed by King Solomon’s wise decision.
By telling this story I am taking South and North Sudan as these two loose women living in their own house – under the same roof. And here we are not lacking that same dishonest woman (Khartoum). The NCP in Khartoum has slept over her kid (Referenda - CPA) and wanted to come over to own the SPLM’s part of the partition in destruction, by sending Misseriya tribe against Abyei Referendum and debts, border demarcation among others to thwart the South on Referendum for Unity or Separation. The North’s ruling party of NCP did not know this day was going to come and now it’s here. Southern Sudanese five years ago called the 6 years interim period long waiting, but it has arrived so swiftly without delay.
It’s now upon the South to pay, to make this day a reality. The price is in different forms and the patriotic comrades of the land must be ready to pay those prices wherever they are in honor of the roll of honor. One of our living witnesses of Southern Sudan said, “we have a government and legislative assembly to declare any state of emergency if the North force itself and this unattractive unity into being” It will be a dangerous mistake to the GOSS - if she let the day go without possessing it. The Southern Sudanese are proud of their Juba government because of the stand they have made against Sudan government (terrorists ally). The ground on which the Government of Southern Sudan stand is sufficient in the face of this evil.
Bashir and his top official have said this clearly couple times; “No any other alternative to unity is acceptable or will be accepted by the Sudanese government in Khartoum”. This statement is invasion of the South in its nature. The weapons might be modern but the risk of war is not modern to both parties. Bashir is trying and have been trying real hard to junk the CPA – attempting to add in some items which were not part of the CPA just to delay the Referenda to its expiration, so people will say nothing when CPA has no validity. And any action against their ill plan by the GOSS is call - unofficial when the talk illicit claims into the Referenda. So where is the King?
Bush addressing USA in 2003 said, “if this is not evil, then evil has no meaning” in reference to Saddam Hussein’s raping and mass murdering of his own Iraqi citizens. So if all the agreements; the North have signed and dishonored, the mass raping and killing that have been seen in Southern Sudan for the decades passed and now in Darfur being done by the Sudanese government. The North (Sudanese government) didn’t confess or apologize for. If it is not evil, then evil has no name. All the Southerners must call this evil by her name, by registering and dependable voting for their own Independent Country on January 9th, 2011.
Motivation on inspiration: Winston Churchill said, “Before you can inspire with emotion, you must be swamped with it yourself. Before you can move their tears, your own must flow. To convince them, you must yourself believe”. The Northern Sudanese Arabs of Bashir’s brain and the NCP believe in themselves and themselves only to rule and exploit – calling Southern Sudanese incompetent. That’s not the world we need to live.
God be praised – the cookies’ train that arrived today in Wau Town did not come 5 years ago. The blindsided could have been trapped into unattractive unity – not knowing they have been bribed not to speak for their rights. Thanks for the delay.
They have been driven by the spirit of $$$$$$$$ and lust of office, but not of brotherhood.
South Sudan Referendum is a reality by law. Orchestration of its destruction by anyone or party is unlawful and must be pushed.
While watching the Heads or representatives of world States’ 4 hours video (High Level Meeting on Sudan) on www.UNmultimedia.org - on the night of September 24th, 2010. On that same night – I was convinced that the world is united behind Southern Sudan’s painful voices of concern for Referendum make possible through fair and free preparations and votes; in regards to people’s will. Besides, the Abyei, Blue Nile, Nuba Mountains, and Darfur’s crisis concerns inside Sudan. All world
leaders who met in Manhattan New York, were fully informed and understood decades of suffering endured by the Sudanese people and most importantly by Southern Sudanese – the representatives came to believe that, the Referendum with its issues; must be conducted as agreed and signed by the two governments of North and South – Sudan.
Even in this High Level Meeting: There were good and bad news for the world to take along their rocky path on Sudan problems. The bad news came with two Sudanese neighbors: Idris Debby of Chad asked question, do you think is Sudan going to be more peaceful when divided into South and South? His question was disregarding the call for Referendum timely schedule to be respected and proper credibility of its being run peacefully with accuracy on people’s will. The second man was the Ethiopian Meles Zenawi, who said, let me assure you (delegates) that Referendum will not happen on time nor conducted because of issues interconnected with separation (vote of independence); counting the oil and border demarcation items among many others attached. His point of concern was no enough time to deal with the claims dogging South Sudan Referendum votes on January 9th, 2011. Why no time now? What was the government doing during the last – almost 6 years of interim period? Conspiracy is not a passport to unity here. Let Zenawi be assured.
No one knows what Khartoum have said or paid to these two men, but Heaven knows!!
You wonder what happened to Debby and Zenawi – if the call of help is heard as far as Brazil in South America, North America, the European Countries, other African Countries and Asian Continent’s representatives who talked respectfully, in support of the Sudanese people and governments for Referenda, and popular consultations be done as scheduled almost 6 years ago now.
The other bad news was the Sudanese 2nd vice president; Taha’s 2 delegates (North) were thrown into jail for inappropriate behaviors - caught by New York police violating code of conducts, around Manhattan’s Hilton Hotel during an entry or exiting the place – the 2 delegates were later on released after the prove of their legibility to attend the meeting was found. Luckily, the 1st Sudanese vice president, Salva Kiir Mayardit’s delegates (South) whose his people are rumored to be incapable of ruling themselves, were found free of such violent argument or inappropriate acts accusation. Victory in another way around!
Is Ali Ahmed Karti a Time Bell?
Karti is running against red light with his own NCP wishes and proposals. In his interview, with Ali Salih of Asharq Alawsat – 09-23-2010 (Arabic Newspaper). “You signed the CPA, the CPA prefers Unity”, Karti said to the interviewer meaning the USA and SPLM on peace agreement. I can’t tell if Sudanese foreign minister, Karti got it right about the CPA articles he refers to. The article in its real contact mean that the people of South Sudan would opt - depending on their combined experiences of 22 years of second civil war plus 6 years of interim period if the North is accommodative in its administrative rules and laws in relation to South Sudan’s people, and norms, which is not. The CPA has two options in it: Unity and Separation depending on the attractiveness of one. Making Unity attractive is when all articles or almost all of them were implemented or applied to work. And making unity unattractive is when what have been signed in Naivasha is disrespected or ignored – which put the South on the fastest lane to Secession if North is seen using unacceptable behavior/s as Obama stated. Is the NCP going to blame the South or SPLM for taking side between Unity and Separation when Referendum comes on 01-09-2011? No! Because you are the leader and decide to undermine the law, no one is going to abide by what you have broken – So you don’t call CPA a law anymore.
“There are some unacceptable behaviors in the 21st century, like genocide”, said – by his Excellency US President; Barack Obama – 09-24-2010; in the “High Level Meeting on Sudan” in New York. Thanks God who ever initiated the meeting got a great idea of moving the world forward. This is true; the National Congress Party is shifting from calling South Sudanese abid –meaning slaves to niggers - according to recent comment, by the same Karti of NCP on the press in the capital, Khartoum. It’s a childish way of insulting a Nation and must stop.
Karti’s bigotry-accusation to SPLM – saying that SPLM is using a terrorism tactics to avoid Unity campaign is a lie. If there are people terrorized, arrested or killed by Sudan People Liberation Movement (SPLM), why not mention their names and the locality of their residency or presence; if this is not unhappiness of those Khartoum have paid and sent to the South to destabilize the region and return to Khartoum without succeeding in their mission because SPLM did not give them any ground of incubation.
This same Ali Karti have called the International Community’s support-call, for South Sudan Referendum dateline and people’s will to vote on January next year, an “ill-intention to divide Sudan”. So is sending militias and government forces to kill Southerners and Darfurians a prosperous intention? Again the 3 billion dollars plan to develop the South/been developing the South is not a true statement – that was talked about this year (2010) just to turn the referendum scheme around for an empty unity of the Country – which has never been seen during the last five years of unity government.
Darfur is still burning to ashes – Sudan government is doing it!!
Referendum and Popular consultations are Refuge to the South and Abyei, Blue Nile and Nuba Mountains Regions. So they must be honored to be conducted according to the law, in which they were brought into book. The violations done and violations on the schedule to be done against Referendum success, are a bloody face all authorities of concern, must face without turning to the side.

The Deadly Silence of Our Friend - is not a good Sign.
When the ruthless Khartoum regime locked down the South Sudan, Abyei, Blue Nile and Nuba mountains (South Kordufan) - besides; are Eastern Sudan and the Darfur today, against modernization, education, justice, freedom and Sudanese’s wealth and power sharing, during the last fifty years in Sudanese story – where were they, who are struggling to pollute, to abort the Sudanese agreement for the lasting peace - for their own gains? They speak against Separation in Support of the Sudanese empty Unity, while they did not speak when millions were murdered and leaders assassinated by the government of the same… – tell me the difference. And where were you by then!?
The Russian envoy to Sudan – Mikhail Margelov’s remark on MENA’s press in Cairo, Egypt, after Arab league’s meeting about Sudan’s unity or disintegration about Southern Sudan Referendum for Secession, or unity, is disgraceful before the World’s peace loving communities. Margelov said, and quoted by Sudantribune.com and I paraphrase; South Sudan’s call for her independence is another Somalization. Sudan alone, without all these dirty fabrications is a Somali of its own. Evident are the 7 years old war in Darfur – Western part of Sudan, the current and previous wars by the Sudanese government against the Great Regions of the Country mentioned in the first paragraph above. Don’t wait for another Somalization – Sudan has ranks #3 out of 177 Countries – 2010 failed States index shows. www.foreignpolicy.com
This careless remark, prove my statement: which I said earlier this year – “Is South Sudan, part of Arab World political prostitution!?” (An Article Title). Why such a statement does come from An Arab league gathering? What were they thinkin’????????????????
Southern Sudan weighed war against Khartoum – North Sudan domination and oppression, for more than half a century. No matter what you say! The call and match for Southern Sudanese Secession – are on. Victory is imminent for a new Country – despite the hurdles – we will cross the bridge, to the stepping ground. The Margelov - is the same guy who said earlier, calling Sudanese Election -“it’s African Standard”, in support of El Bashir - returning to power, after Sudanese April, 2010 - presidential election, when Omer El Bashir won election by 68% through fraudulent formulars. He is the same guy, whose his Country of Russia has been supplying Khartoum with military apparatus to crash SPLM/SPLA during the last 3 decades in 3 years time to come. And again today, Russians citizens are roaming in the Southern Sudanese territories, distributing arms to Southern Sudanese enemies and airlifting the alleged killers of Sudanese people in Darfur and Southern Sudan regions – using white painted helicopters, to do their illegal and rampage business of killing and dividing the Country of Sudan. The recently impounded helicopter by SPLA and other forces concern; has 3 Russian Crews on.
Do Russians think - Sudan is their market of selling arms to!? They can do their business without being Rude and Violent to Southern Sudan. Blood and money thirsty; is Russia – Southern Sudanese have learnt.
The Southern Sudanese have been looking for a place they could call their home Country, after Sudan government denied them the right of citizenship, recognition of brotherhood, freedom, justice for equality of all Sudanese in respect to their differences and wealth sharing. The Search is on and the reason is Referendum for Secession of South Sudan as an independent Country - according to the Comprehensive Peace Agreement signed almost six years, between National Congress Party/National Islamic Front (NCP/NIF) – in Northern Sudan and Sudan People Liberation Movement/Sudan People Liberation Army (SPLM/SPLA) – in Southern Sudan, her allies and vicinities. When Southern Sudanese call Referendum – “Final Walk to freedom,” they mean it. Be informed, they will pay the cost for their successful and dignified arrival to freedom.
The SPLM need government of integrity, justice and frugality. The government in Juba will bring that government in place with Oyeeee! The patriots of the Land have refused to pay Khartoum honor on their glorious cost. Referendum must be done! Khartoum must go and Omar El Bashir must go to Hague Court with his advisors, or get caught like Saddam Hussein, in the rat hole. The Sudanese disintegration today, is Sudanese integration for tomorrow. Dress South Referendum; respectfully and successfully and you dressed all the Sudanese oppressed/issues. A one stone that kill them all – is Referendum.
All the Peace Loving governments around the world must denounce Khartoum’s intruding behaviors and be ready to endorse the South as an independent Country, on January 9th, 2011.
The Sudanese neighbors and African Continent at large should do their best of well wishes.
Speaking up is a must in the first place: why do those who can speak constructively allow those who speak destructively to reign. Please! They have tried their best of the Sudanese Unity before, but was hell; let them try Separation for a lasting peace and love. We have been there.
