Sudan demands removal from U.S. terrorism list

July 9, 2010 (KHARTOUM) — The Sudanese foreign minister Ali Karti today reiterated his government's long standing demand that it must be removed from the United States list of "state sponsors of terrorism" in order to allow for normalization of ties with Washington.
